A visit with Romanian Orphans

Our final week in Romania was one to remember. With the help of the Romanian Jandarmarie, the military branch of its police force in Bucharest, Team two spent¬†1,200 lei ($372 US) on food and toys for donation to a local orphanage. All 71 children received a gift bag filled with an assortment of goodies and toys. Each of us had the opportunity to play and interact with the energetic bunch. “I just wish we had more time to play with them,” said Cadet Beverley Cleary. Here are some pictures from last week’s visit to the orphanage.
